Manuscript Sorting Unit
Design-Build project for the interior of an 8,500 square foot hermetically sealed, humidity controlled building envelope with lab space for the world renowned rare manuscript library.
The project included a dry fire suppression system which during installation of the system, HBH and its subcontractors discovered the number of heads as designed was not enough to handle the supply pressure. Activation of the system would have shredded the priceless documents in storage to pieces. HBH was able to identify the problem before it became a major cost to the owner.
